Messages (Anniversary/Birthday) from the Lieutenant Governor
Upon request, the Lieutenant Governor will send birthday/anniversary greeting to Islanders celebrating birthdays of 80 or more in intervals of 5 years, and to couples celebrating wedding anniversaries of 50 years or more. To request a greeting, contact the office at (902) 368-5480.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II sends messages to Canadians who are 100 years of age or older and to couples who have been married for 60 years or more. These are issued by the office of the Secretary to the Governor General of Canada. For more information visit Governor General Congratulatory Messages. You will be asked to provide proof of age or length of marriage. Send your request six to 12 weeks before the event to ensure the message arrives on time. Messages from the Queen are mailed two weeks prior to the event.
