2020 Government House Holiday Season
As preparations begin for the Holiday Season, we regret to announce that, due to restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic, we must cancel our annual Christmas Open House and New Year's Day Levee. Although we cannot open Government House, we have carried the seasonal spirit outdoors.
While strolling or driving through Victoria Park, you will admire a panoramic view of Government House adorned with a festive display of seasonal trimmings.

Tours 2020
Due to COVID, the grounds of Government House and the official Residence are closed at this time.
Tours for schools and groups interested in the history of Government House and the Office of the Lieutenant Governor are also available throughout the remainder of the year by booking in advance.
Grounds are open daily. Walking brochures are available in the Gatehouse.
Note: Tours will not be available to commercial operators.
Summer of 2020
Her Honour the Honourable Antoinette Perry, Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island is pleased to announce that the grounds of Government House will reopen for guided walking tours for groups of up to 10 people, beginning July 2 until August 28. Tours will begin on the hour starting at the gates, Monday-Friday, 10 am to 3 pm. Signage will be posted. Public health protocols are being followed.
Due to COVID-19 precautions, there will be no tours of the residence this summer.
Note: There will be no public access for group photographs on the grounds.
